Dale Grabill – Storm Lake Times Pilot

Jen Olson

Dale was born March 1, 1955 to Don and Bonnie Grabill in Harlan. He attended Harlan Community Schools and graduated in 1973.

He worked in manufacturing for many years before moving to Sioux Rapids and working for Ranco Mfg. until his retirement. He was very talented at working with steel and could make almost anything for his job and for himself.

Deer hunting and fishing made him very happy. He shared his catches with many friends, including his mother.

In the spring he was looking forward to hunting mushrooms and asparagus and we shared the treat this spring. He liked to be with his family during the holiday season.

Dale died at his home on June 26, 2022.

He was predeceased by his father Don; brother Robert; nephew Keegan Crawley; grandparents: Gale and Martha Grabill and Raymond and Marie Hansen.
